Where does google get its money from?

When you think of all the google apps out there including the search engine, how is it they can offer the service for free? Someone has to pay for all of the servers and support, satellite mapping and data processing, street mapping, chrome browser development. I find it very hard to believe that it's through advertising, so many people use ad-blockers or just ignore most ads.Where does google get its money from?
99% of google search engine's revenue comes from advertising

They have a click through rate of 13%, and that's like $14 billion a year.Where does google get its money from?
Those ads on their site make them a killing..... a serious killing. And its not just their search site and email and other stuff they do, they also have an advertising service that you can post ads from google on your site and for each click, you get paid a little money from google, who gets paid by the companies/organizations who are doing the advertising through the service. It is very very lucrative.Where does google get its money from?
They're an advertising agency. So yes, it is through ads.
