Now, sometimes they could use memory to load the page faster, but if you're using a good browser (like Chrome) it won't use any|||No they do NOT.

Google Chrome apps are not in the sense of a program or an actual application actually installed onto your computer, they are basically links to websites. Click on your apps and look at the address bar.. they just take you to other sites.
